Alpaca 4 ply (100gr - 367m) is 100% Superfine made from the fleece of Alpaca that have been especially bred for their fineness. Alpaca is a hollow fibre which has excellent insulation properties meaning it can retain more heat, making it 3 times the warmth of sheep’s wool. It is smooth and silky to touch, to work with this yarn is heavenly. It has hypoallergenic properties, it contains no lanolin, which makes the fibre safe to wear if you have skin allergies. Alpaca 4 ply is especially suited to weaving, knitting and crochet accessories and garments for example: - socks, scarves, shawls, baby garments, jumpers and cardigans.
