70% Blue Faced Leicester / 30% seacell (seaweed)
Weight & Length
70% White Blue Faced Leicester / 30% Seacell,
A speciality English breed with lustre similar to mohair blended with Seacell (seaweed) Top.
Blue Faced Leicester wool is fine and dense with a good lustre and is long. Therefore, it is well suited to combing. The Blue Faced Leicester fleece is highly prized for its likeness to mohair and for its production of attractive lustrous yarns with good resilience. And the seacell (seaweed) makes it durable for knitting socks.
The color combinations are all ‘on of a kind’ so not possible to re-produce.
This roving is blue, orange & green. There are also un-dyed bits of fibre, which give a lot of depth to the yarn.
I have included several pictures, to try and give a good idea of the color, but I cannot guarantee that it will look exactly the same on your screen as it does on mine!
