4 days of needlework. On the fair there are only textile crafts: embroidery, knitting, crochet, quilt, felting and sewing. There are more than 200 exhibitors and daily workshops, demostrations and meet & greets with bloggers and designers.

Joure onder de wol

The aim of this 1-day event is to introduce people to wool in the broadest sense of the word.
The main part of the day is shearing the sheep of Terra Landscape Management. Visitors to the market can buy the furs of the sheep as every year. Proceeds from the sale will go back to the sheep flock. There is also a market and workshops are given.

26 juli Weversmarkt Hoorn

The Weversmarkt is about textiles, in the sense of weaving, knitting, crochet, quilting, spinning, felting, etc. All different types of textile work. With more than 180 stalls, the largest market in the Netherlands in the heart of Hoorn for everyone who loves yarn.

I'm attending the Wollig Landleven Fair in Zorgvlied.You are welcome to visit from 11.00 till 16.30  at the Dorpsstraat and the Tied Zat park.

In October, the 7th Day of the Wool will be held in Boxtel. 

From the website: There is a lot of space both inside and outside, so we can accommodate many stands.

The space also offers the opportunity to be innovative. Because we have a lot of ideas. For example, we want to provide more information about other processing methods for wool. Because there are also more and more places in the Netherlands where wool can be processed.

There is a lot going on in the wool field, not just spinning, felting, knitting etc, but there are many innovative ideas in all kinds of fields. For example, consideration is being given to the application of wool in construction.

Of course, the producers of the wool are not lacking either: we try to show different varieties with their different wool.
