Silky Cat

A super-soft silk-mohair yarn blend of 69% Mulberry silk, 22% Super Kid mohair, and 9% polyamide; 100 grams – 350 meters. Thanks to the 69% Mulberry silk content, the yarn has a beautiful natural sheen and feels extremely soft against the skin. The 22% Super Kid mohair provides that characteristic "halo" (the fuzzy layer), while the 9% polyamide serves as the core thread to hold the fibers together and ensure the yarn's strength.

Its weight makes this yarn perfect for knitting with a single strand using 3.5mm to 4.5mm needles. It creates a dreamy, semi-sheer effect that is less delicate than standard fine mohair yarns.

It would also work well as a weft thread in weaving, though not as a warp thread.
